Terms of service
Short, and in plain words, because terms nobody reads protect nobody. This is the whole agreement between you and Pettigrew Lab LLC about using Looped.
Who runs Looped
Looped is operated by Pettigrew Lab LLC. It is free, it has no paid tier, and there is no plan for one. Using it means you agree to what is on this page.
Getting in and staying in
Looped is invite-only. You need a code from an existing member and a Google account to sign in with, and you need to be old enough to agree to this yourself, which means 13 or over. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google sign-in to yourself.
What you post stays yours
Your picks, your blurbs, and your photos belong to you. We do not claim ownership and we do not license them out. What you give us is permission to show them inside Looped, to the people you are connected to, so the product can work at all. Nothing you write here is published anywhere public.
What we ask of you
Recommend things you actually like. Do not post anything illegal, anything that harasses somebody, or anything you do not have the right to share. Do not upload other people’s photos without their say-so. Do not use Looped to advertise, and do not post affiliate links, because the whole product is built on nobody getting paid for a recommendation.
What we promise back
No ads. No selling your data. No brand accounts, no sponsored questions, and no affiliate links anywhere in the product. Your picks are visible only to people you have both agreed to connect with, and only after they have answered that week themselves. That last part is enforced by the database, not by policy.
Ending it
You can stop using Looped whenever you like, and you can have your account deleted by writing to pettigrewlabllc@gmail.com from the address on it. We can close an account that breaks the rules above, and we will say why. If somebody already saved one of your picks to their own vault, the text they saved stays in their vault without your name attached.
The boring but necessary part
Looped is provided as it is. It is a small product run by a small family, and we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of bugs. We are not liable for losses that come from using it or from being unable to. Nothing here is a guarantee that a recommendation from another member will be any good.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, members get told by email before it takes effect, in the same Monday message everything else arrives in. Small corrections get made quietly. The date at the bottom of this page always says when it last changed.
